Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, has criticized Valve's approach to AI content disclosures, labeling them a political act. He also drew attention to a old forum post discussing studio closures, which is facing community backlash. Sweeney's remarks were echoed by other sources, comparing Steam's AI disclosures to political essays required by the platform and suggesting they resemble forcing developers to list their voting history.
