The San Jose Sharks last faced the Boston Bruins. A rookie forward Ivar Stenberg scored his first career NHL goal during the match. The strike was past goalie Jeremy Swayman. The team is now preparing for its annual Hockey Fights Cancer night. The event is scheduled on mid-November. It will focus on cancer awareness and support for those affected. This program is a segment of a league-wide campaign for the upcoming season.
